Exciting news Food Lovers… J Sainsbury’s have just started to sell fresh Kaffir lime leaves in 20 of their UK stores. This may not sound that exciting to the uneducated, but, due to some weird European law, fresh Kaffir lime leaves cannot be brought into the EU. So, those clever folks at Sainsbury’s have managed to get round the issue by sourcing a small UK grower of the plants, thus allowing them to sell the pungent, green leaves in their larger stores. Hooray, Authentic green Thai curry, here we come!
